Help me give my students a way to improve their learning style with using the spaced out log seats and the individual magazine from scholastic to stay safe and learn.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This school year, I have a total of nineteen, gifted students. I have nine that will remain virtual and ten that will be attending school as of October 21, 2020. They are eager to learn and share their ideas with each other. I used the theme of reaching for the stars in my classroom. I have quotes around the class that tell my students the harder you work, the smarter you get.
The majority of my students come from other countries, such as Cuba, Niagara, and Honduras.
Many don’t have the funds to own their own computers at home. I make sure they are exposed to as much technology as possible, and want them to gain as much enrichment as possible during their school year.
My Project
The scholastic magazines will assist my second graders in becoming tomorrow's readers and writers. My second graders are expected to use laptops, consumables, and other digital sources to do research projects and to build knowledge about different topics.
Many students don’t have the funds to own their own computers at home nor the enrichment necessary to achieve a higher level of learning.
I make sure they are exposed to as much technology as possible and current events. I want them to gain as much enrichment as possible during their school year.
