Help me give my students a place to store their class binders to help them always be prepared for class.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
They are opinionated, sassy, but most of all they are full of life. The students in 302B are ninth graders and 11th graders in an English course led by a passionate teacher. Our high school campus is a magnet campus so, we host all walks of life in our hallways and classrooms. Some of my students come from amazing homes and others are living in their cars or motel rooms. However, they live, they show up to class and still have the desire to learn.
Our classroom is in need of dictionaries, updated ones.
The ones that we have are dated and do not have the new terms. My students thrive with dictionaries as many of them are new to our country or having a teacher that is teaching them the power of a word.
In our classroom, we use 3-ring binders to keep our materials together. Students are encouraged to leave their binders in class, this way they have one less item to carry and it ensures that they are prepared for the day. This shelf would hold their binders and keep them in a space for the year. This type of organization teaches them to be prepared and be ready to learn-important items do not belong on the floor.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
