This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are incredible learners with diverse needs, and many of them face daily challenges such as staying focused in a busy classroom environment. Several of my students have ADHD or sensory processing difficulties, which can make typical classroom sounds, like pencil tapping, hallway noise, or chairs moving, overwhelming and distracting.
To help them succeed, I’m requesting Loop noise reduction earplugs designed specifically to reduce background noise without blocking out important sounds like voices.
These earplugs will help reduce overstimulation and give students the opportunity to focus, regulate their emotions, and engage more fully in learning.
Having access to Loop earplugs will be a game-changer for students who are often overwhelmed by sound. These discreet, reusable earplugs can help create a calmer learning space within the general education classroom and promote inclusion without drawing attention to their use.
