This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are faced with many challenges, but despite those challenges, they come to class excited and ready to learn!

Many of my students don’t have all the supplies they need to reach their fullest potential, so I try to provide them with the supplies they need.

They love to read and be read to. I always focus on their potential and eagerness to learn and take advantage of pushing them as much as possible. My students are great and love to learn! I may not be able to control their challenges outside of school, but I sure can be positive and creative in the classroom, and I can provide an inviting and welcoming environment in the classroom.

My Project

I am asking for items that will help my students stay healthy during this time. I have had many students out about 5-6 a day because of illness. These items will be essential to help all my students stay healthy. Masks which are required and students lose or rip during the day so they need replacement. Soap to wash our hands before lunch. Disinfecting spray and wipes to rid our classroom of germs on a daily basis. Tissues are a must have in every classroom.

These supplies will hopefully reduce absences and keep my students healthy!
