This year will be my first year teaching in my own classroom. I am very excited to start this journey at a charter school in St. Paul. In my class I have 10 energetic and eager to learn preschoolers. I am excited to watch them grow and learn this school year. However as a first year teacher I have limited resources, and I am looking to ensure I can provide everything my students may need to succeed in the classroom throughout the year.
During these uncertain circumstances, A huge majority of our students do not have access to any technology or classroom materials due to low income households. We as a Pre-K class are trying out best to help and support our students active learning in a variety of ways by incorporating other hands on learning techniques through interactive iPads. While we have been sending home other learning materials and supplies, we are endlessly working on providing all aspects of distance learning to give all of our students the resources they need to succeed.
