Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our urban 4th graders are mostly English language learners. They are very motivated to learn and need many experiences to build their content knowledge and academic performance. Throughout the school day, they need many opportunities to use various learning materials in varied collaborative settings.
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them.
I am a first year teacher, hoping to provide my students with a place where they feel welcomed and ready to learn and adjust to a new teacher, new classroom environment and even routines.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
