This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I am assisting children from grades K-2. We are in a self-contained setting with many different goals to reach. In order to help our students succeed and achieve their academic goals, we need a few materials for our new classroom. We are in need of basic classroom materials such as scissor, crayons, markers and art supplies. The students in our class will benefit greatly from these supplies, they will be able to engage in different individual/group projects.
We are also in need of new sensory toys.
We like to give our students brain breaks/sensory time. This allows children to transition easily and allows them to pace themselves throughout the day.
We will appreciate all the help we can get! Our goal is to have a great year and to provide our students with the materials they need to succeed!
