Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With this iPad I am planning on taking pictures of my students for their quarterly portfolios. Having students pictures in one place will help track students progress from beginning to end of the year.
Classroom communication will also grow with the use of an iPad.
I currently use remind as a communication tool for parents and having the application loaded on the iPad will allow me to send communication to the parents more frequently. I am also planning on downloading music into the iPad to have it ready to go and help with transitions. I currently have to pause instruction and play the songs we use on YouTube. I will also have the iPad available for students to listen to stories.
Lastly, having the calendar on the iPad will help set reminders to keep track of any meetings coming up such as team level meetings or a parent conference. The iPad will also be used to capture memories (pictures) to share with parents and as a on the go device for music outdoors.
