Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The past two and a half years have been hard on all stake holders. From students learning to adjust to remote learning to parental meetings being conducted via online platforms, my goal as an educator has been to do the very best I could with the available resources. When we returned to in person learning, I began recording class instruction and making it available to students. As a service provider I did not have a dedicated classroom and given the learning environment, I found myself teaching anywhere and everywhere. I purchased a stand alone camera but it was limited and connected to my laptop. The field of view was limited, I had to be more stationary, and often distracted by tripping over cords and accidently unplugging the camera. With Metal Portal Plus ,I will be able to move freely in front of the camera and record lessons without distraction.
