Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year I work hard to build strong relationships with my families. These efforts are important to me as an educator because it truly takes a village to raise a child.
The Take-Home Folders will allow me to stay connected with students’ families on a daily basis and the sketch pads will be used to develop young learners’ writing skills!
The folders will include special resources and learning tools as well as their weekly homework packets. Other important notices and announcements may be sent home in their folders. Families will also be able to send important notes and return items such as permission slips.
The sketch pads will be used to illustrate special stories and learn to label and compose simple sentences as students gain phonemic awareness skills!
