This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have amazing students at my school. We want to improve student attendance as well as keeping the children warm. Giving them hats and gloves will be a great way to start the day. We have some children who enter school so cold as they don't have hats and gloves. We like to take the children outside for recess and sometimes it's too uncomfortable for those children who don't have hats and gloves to keep them warm, thus preventing kids from getting fresh air and sunlight on winter days. These hats and gloves will also stop them from staying home from school when it's freezing.
