My Project
My 2nd grade students are full of curiosity, creativity, and a growing love for learning. Each day, they eagerly dive into writing stories, solving math problems, and expressing their ideas through their pencils. But we often face a small yet mighty challenge—keeping our pencils sharp and ready to go!
We're in need of a variety of high-quality pencils, sturdy erasers, and a heavy-duty electric pencil sharpener that can withstand daily classroom use.
Right now, our sharpener is on its last legs, and many of our pencils wear down quickly, leading to frustration and lost learning time. Having reliable tools will make a big difference in helping students stay focused and productive.
Most of my students come from low-income households, and I want to ensure they have the basic supplies they need to feel confident and successful. Something as simple as a freshly sharpened pencil can empower a child to take on a math challenge or write their next big story.
