My Students

Seat Sacks For Second Graders!

My students need supplies, and storage seat sacks to help them stay organized for success!

My students are young, vibrant and eager to learn! They live in a rural, lower income area that sometimes limits their opportunities in education, technology, and in life in general. My goal is to make sure they get every opportunity possible to succeed in life.

My students, mostly from farming families, struggle economically. I try my best to supplement instructional and storage space for their books and supplies with out of my own pocket money which is never enough.

My Project will help develop organizational skills and a sense of pride which is a critical key to success. A seat sack is a medium to large pocket that goes round the back of the student's chair. In this pocket, students are able to store their journals, folders, and any other supplies we use daily. This will expedite the transition process between classes. Seat sacks allow students to have their supplies with them at their tables at all times.

They need a personal area where they can safely, and neatly store their items. Thank you!

My Project

My project is Seat Sack for Organization in our classroom.

These Seat Sacks will make a great difference in the allocation of time between lessons.

It will help my students stay organized and allow better use of time for the instructional purpose. It will surely help develop organizational skills and will expedite the searching for their materials, before, during and after in each lesson.

These seat sacks will avoid the constant losing or not know where their supplies, books, personal journals are. Not losing supplies is even more crucial for my students who all live in the rural area at a far distance from commercial areas. Not all have the economic means nor the transportation to go to the surrounding cities to buy school supplies.
