This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will stay engaged with interactive digital texts that are relatable to them, high interest, and based on current events around the world. These texts will show them how kids just like them are making a difference around the world! I’ve used these digital magazines in the past and my students love them! However, our school is no longer funding this resource for us and I am looking to encourage the love of reading in my classroom, while giving my kids access to real events and kid friendly news happening in our world.
