My students are very inquisitive and are always asking questions about current events. They seem to catch snippets of news broadcasts at home and don't always fully understand events that are happening in the world. Often, they are asking questions about things they have seen on social media, that are biased and do not give them accurate facts. I would like to use Time For Kids as a resource to teach them about current events and about how to determine reliable sources of current events. I would also like to teach them how to write an unbiased news article.
