My Project

These sensory toys will be used to complete the sensory calm-down space that will be available to all students at our Elementary.

Our Elementary has a high population of students who greatly benefit from sensory calm-down activities.

Between special education students, general education students, and students who have autism, we are always looking for materials and opportunities to help our students meet their emotional needs.

These materials will help our students self-regulate and use the emotional regulation skills they are being taught daily! These material and sensory areas will also be displayed in a part of our school that will be visible to parents and families to help educate them on the benefits of sensory and calm-down spaces for their developing child.
