My Students

My fourth-grade students are active, fun-loving nine and ten-year-old children. These students love to play, create and entertain each other. They love free time and playing with their classmates. They love using technology to help them learn. They are very independent learners. These students are proud of their classroom and classroom materials. They work hard to have a clean positive work environment. These students deserve to have the best because they work so hard on a daily basis.

My students experienced Hurricane Michael first hand.

The catastrophic storm took away homes, clothing, books, etc. We are working hard to put our community back together.

My Project

The materials that I am asking for will allow my students to remain calm and reduce anxiety while completing class work and testing. The materials are small and can be easily handled by my fourth grade students.

Testing and grade level standards can be challenging resulting in students feeling anxious and frustrated.

These materials are fun for the students to use, but most importantly keep them calm while working and are not a distraction.

I am asking for stretch balls, bubble pop pops, an Infinity Cube and Optical Illusion spinners that will be able to be used while the students are working. These materials are small and can be easily cleaned. I have also asked for two weighted pillows. These pillows reduce anxiety and help students stay seated. They will be placed in the student's lap while they are working. Last, I included anxiety essential oil for our classroom diffuser. This oil is said to give the room a calming effect.

These items will help my students stay calm and feel less anxious when they are completing work in the classroom. My class and I would greatly appreciate your donations!!
