Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are happy and motivated kids that can excel when they have the correct tools to do so! My students engage in math that will continue to transfer through the remainder of their years, including lots of Algebra and graphing. Our students deserve success in their futures as long as we can combine their effort with the right tools.

Movement is a large piece of being a kid.

By getting some flexible cushions and fidget feet bands, I am hoping to allow kids to get their wiggles out and maintain their focus on the math in front of them! With the erasable inserts, I also want to employ the use of stations to help students get up and learn to keep them away and engaged. I am eager to get white boards so that students can show their work as they walk from station to station. With your generosity, our students can become the best scientists and mathematicians of our future!
