Stations, Stations, Everywhere!

My students need help differentiating work areas during math stations, we will do this by using different types of seating like wobble dots and lap desks!

My Students

My fourth grade students are bright, energetic and love to move! On a daily basis my kids are constantly moving throughout math stations! We are on the floor, at tables, and on chromebooks learning comfortably with plenty of opportunity to get all our wiggles out!

I call my students "my kids" because I love them in and out of the classroom!

I am so proud every year when my students leave me with a love of learning that carries on!

My Project

Having variety in the classroom helps engage every student and allows them to focus on their learning. This year I want to amp up my stations by differentiating work spaces with different flexible seating areas! When students are on their chromebooks they will sit comfortable in our new lap desks! Students will be able to spiral back on their learning playing math games while sitting on a wobble dot. This will allow them to get excited about their learning in a comfy seat. We will get new rainbow colored dry erase dots for our "rainbow table" where students are able to work with me writing with dry erase markers. We also will be getting dry erase pockets to help eliminate copies and allow students to get excited working on math with colored markers!

Having variety in the classroom allows all learners to grow in their own way and be successful 4th graders!
