Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is full of students from varied ethnic backgrounds. Our students come to me with different skill level and knowledge, with the majority of our students being Spanish speaking. Some years students start the year not even knowing how to hold a pencil or name basic colors. Our classroom is full of energy, full of learning and full of imagination. We are seeking help to create new, exciting literacy, math and STEM bins for the Rotation Station portion of our day. These stations will focus on skills such as literacy and math, fine motor skills, communication and even social emotional skills. I am requesting with TPT, dominoes, Snap & Build CVC Words, and more.
My wish is that these bins will give our students time to practice these skills in fun and engaging ways!
For our bins to be successful a lot of hard work and thought goes into them. These materials will help us create our bins, and also help us rotate them with different themes and skills. My students are extremely hard workers and love to learn through exploration.
