State Testing Review Store

Help me give my students a reason to excel in math and provide a fun way to review for state testing.

My Project

Our school is a low income school with 100% of students on free lunch. For the past 2 years we have created a State Testing(SOL) Review Store where our 7th grade math students earn tickets for various things for 3 weeks and use them to purchase items from the store. These are typically items they do not usually get on a daily basis.

Our students have been sitting at a 50% pass rate for the math state test.

We have seen a lot of growth in our scores when we do the store. It entices the students to not only work hard during the school day but work hard at home too. The store provides something for the students to look forward to during the school day since math is typically not their favorite subject.

I'm hoping that by getting these donations, I will have enough to provide for the students for 3 weeks of review. Anything you can donate will make the world of difference to myself, my students and our school in general. Thank you all so much!
