Help me give my students comfortable headphones to block out noise, a fun styluses to pick correct answers, and privacy boards to decrease distractions around them.
I am a 3rd grade teacher to the most amazing group of kids. This year, in my classroom, we have dancers, artists, writers, athletes, teachers, police officers, and scientists getting ready to be the change we need in our world. I also have non-readers, kids who don't understand math, students who only eat at school and kids who wear the same clothes 2 or 3 times a week. I work a night job to provide extra supplies for my students!
I am asking for a class set of comfortable, noise cancelling headphones for kids to wear during state testing.
The headphones we have at school are all breaking and won't be replaced in time for testing. I am hoping to get some bright, cheerful colors with padding for my students' ears so they are not fighting with the discomfort of their current headphones. I am also asking for desk dividers in black so kids can put encouraging notes from parents on them to help motivate them and keep them calm during this stressful time of the year. The last thing I am requesting are stylus pens with glitter so they can choose answers with accuracy.
