This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 5th grade students are researching states each year. Being able to provide them with physical books will provide a more wholesome researching experience. Nowadays, they are constantly in a Google world mindset where all of the information is automatically given to them.
Having resources that provide them the opportunity to physically look through a book will give them the experience of searching through a book to find the information they are in need of.
This allows them to utilize the Table of Contents and Indexes which provides them a great experience as well.
