My students are starving for technology in our classroom. They hunger for the technology of today to extend and strengthen their knowledge of our standards. We are in need of the technology to fill my students hunger for technology.
I have 22 technology hungry students.
We are a Title 1 school, and 95% of my class receives free or reduced price lunch. Most students do not have access to technology other than that provided at school. Our school tries to keep up with technology, but funding limits our ability to supply all that is needed.
My Project
My students will use these 2 requested iPad minis as a listening center, math fact center, to record themselves reading, make visual projects, and record mini student-led teaching sessions. They will be used on a daily bases to increase and extend education. My students love and learn from using iPads and we would put them to great use.
My project will make a difference by reinforcing skills I have taught my students.
It will extend their learning by creating projects, recording mini student taught lessons, and increase their motivation to learn.
