For one activity, students created colorful vocabulary flashcards, which not only brightened our classroom walls but also helped them remember and use new words in their writing.\r\n\r\nThe first day we used the new materials, the room was filled with the happy sound of scissors snipping, crayons coloring, and students proudly showing their finished work to classmates. These resources made our activities more engaging, hands-on, and creative — and gave every student the tools they needed to fully participate.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue integrating these materials into our upcoming science project, where students will design illustrated \"fact books\" about plants and animals. Thanks to your generosity, they now have the paper and colors to make their learning come alive.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the opportunity to learn in such a vibrant and meaningful way!","fullyFundedDate":1746793510331,"projectUrl":"project/tools-of-hope-for-extraordinary-students/9329269/","projectTitle":"Tools of Hope for Extraordinary Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Negros","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9552136_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1729544584484","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9552136"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_25738","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":300,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":60,"percentWhite":21,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"9.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":48.0,"schoolId":25738,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chester Park Center for Literacy Andtech on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Chester Park Center for Literacy Andtech","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/chester-county-school-district/chester-park-center-of-literacy-through-technology/25738"}
