This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

inspiring, sweet, funny and talented are all words that describe our Junior high girls athletes. We are not fully developed in any sport but we are willing to try them all, that is the attitude they all show up with. Watching each one of them develop and learn is a true pleasure, many of these kids come with so much baggage from home, athletics is the time where they can just be a kid, play like a kid and have a great time!

My Project

We’ve gotten by with the basics, made due with missing or broken equipment, but we are proud, we try hard and we will always overcome. The materials we are requesting will help the program be successful and to properly store and care for the items we do have. Being proud of what you have and being able to show thanks is what this equipment will do for us. We want to be better,stronger and more confident! We want to win more games, see new places and prove many people wrong. Asking for this equipment is our first step is reaching our goals!
