My Project

My students are awesome! They come from diverse backgrounds and arrive each day ready to learn and embrace new experiences. Although our school is located in a rural community, we serve a richly diverse population. Many of our students are new to the country and are just beginning to learn English.

My classroom is a welcoming space where students can come together to learn and have fun, regardless of their differences or individual needs.

Throughout the school year, we work hard to grow academically, socially, and emotionally, while also building strong community relationships.

As we prepare for the new school year, my students are in need of basic school supplies. Items like pencils, pens, notebooks, Post-it notes, dry-erase markers, folders, and a pencil sharpener are essential for completing daily assignments, working on projects, and staying organized throughout the year. In our English class, we use Post-it notes daily to track unfamiliar vocabulary and identify main ideas as we read.

My students are incredibly grateful for any supplies they receive. These tools not only help them succeed in my classroom, but also support their learning in other subjects. Something as simple as having a pencil at the start of the day can make a big difference in their ability to stay engaged and focused.
