My Project
Middle school is a difficult time for many students. I want to make it easier for them by having the basic materials they need in order to be successful, without having to worry. This project includes basic things like pencils and pencil sharpeners, as well as things that are necessary in a technological world like chargers and power strips.
I have a high percentage of students who come from low-income households and have had to deal with things that some adults never experience in their entire lives.
This project allows me to provide things for them that seem so small, but can get in the way of my students feeling successful.
Technology is becoming an increasingly large part of our everyday lives and not having the ability to charge their one to one devices can hinder the progress of my students. I want to be able to provide chargers for my students in the event that they forget to charge their Chromebook or some other circumstance keeps them from doing so.
As always, your donation is greatly appreciated and is put to good use within my classroom. We set high expectations for students and spend quality time reviewing routines and teaching students how to care for the materials so that they last for as long as possible.
