Help me give my students what they need to start the year with basic supplies such as markers and pencil sharpeners to help them succeed with distance learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are wonderful and caring children with a bright educational future ahead of them. I want to provide my students with engaging lessons, a fun learning environment, and endless opportunities to reach their genius.
Our students are motivated to learn, cooperate, and achieve success!
Our school has made tremendous gains over the past 12 years, moving from one of the lowest-performing schools in the area to achieving the honor of being named a Distinguished School! We are an example of a community of students, teachers, parents, and staff, all working together for academic achievement. Our hope is that many of our students will be the first generation in their family to go to college!
My Project
These supplies are going to help my students start the year off right. Distance learning is going to be a challenge for many, if not for all of my students.
Many of my students do not have basic learning supplies at home.
Pencils, sharpener, scissors, a blank notebook, and art supplies will not only be used at home on a regular basis but they will also help my students to be more engaged in the work that they are doing. The pencil pouches will help my students keep their pencils and art supplies organized in one place so that they will always have something to write with to complete our daily lessons.
