The students in all of my classes need supplies to start the year off on the right foot, such as Crayola crayons, a sharpener, pencils, glue sticks, and colored pencils. These supplies will help prepare these students to be more creative when designing and completing various engineering projects. Students usually bring these supplies for their regular classroom teacher, so when it comes to supplies for a cluster teacher (me), I try to ask for as little as possible to lessen the financial burden on the families. However, these supplies are still needed to be prepared to work to their fullest potential. These supplies will help all of my students from pre-K to 5th grade. Having these supplies will also save time. We are usually looking for a sharpened pencil or paper, which sometimes results in not completing assignments. My students are with me for a limited amount of time each day and often become frustrated when they do not finish a task, especially my students with special needs. I would like to limit the amount of frustration and increase the amount of creativity in my classroom.
