I am asking for funding for this project, which will benefit over 300 students because I feel that students need a chance to problem solve and be creative. I find that my students have trouble being creative offline. They have very little opportunity to work hands on. They are able to work with technology but when I comes to engineering themselves they often become frustrated and give up. I believe these kits will help the students become 21st century thinkers without 21st century technology. I also feel that t will help students communicate with peers in order to complete tasks which is beneficial to my ELL population as well as my special needs students.
