My students need markers, scissors and glue sticks for art projects through out the year.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. L.'s classroom raised $480

My Students
My students are only exposed to art once a week. We need art supplies to connect to our content. This would include illustrating for their writing pieces, creating models for their math and illustrating story elements in reading.
Our school is a school wide Title I school.
The majority of our students are below the poverty level and are unable to bring in school supplies. We have a high population of Hispanic and Native American students. Our school is a small rural district which has more than doubled its enrollment over the past three years. Because of this growth, we have limited funds to provide supplies for all of our students.
My Project
We will use the markers, scissors, construction paper, colored pencils and glue sticks for hands on activities related to our content. This would include illustrating story elements in reading, creating models for math problems and illustrating their writing pieces. We will also use the materials for seasonal projects.
It would allow me to address my students individual learning styles, such as tactile and kinesthetic modes of learning.
These supplies would give all students equal access to the supplies needed to be successful in my classroom.
More than half of students from low‑income households
