Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Before we know it a new school year will be here. Students will be in need of some items to have a smoother and organize year in second grade.

In literacy students will be in need of clipboards to organize our reading anchor charts, worksheets and books.

The individual privacy shields will allow students to focus and concentrate on their independent work as well as when they are completing classroom assessments. As the school year begins I like to make the classroom very welcoming for the incoming second graders by using various displays such as the 3D flowers.

My school community has a very large percentage African-American with a majority from low-income families and a few English language learners who learn better with hands-on and real-life experiences in all subject areas. As an educator I am always trying to provide them with all the necessary materials to succeed in second grade. Please help us start the school year with materials we will need.
