This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having the basic essentials for a strong school year make a world of difference for students.

My students deserve to have all the essential materials for school readily available for them to have a successful year.

Not all families can afford to buy the needed materials for the school year and no child should feel embarrassed to come to school without supplies. One of the best ways to ensure all students feel supported and prepared for the year is by having as much of the needed supplies already on hand for all students.

Essentials such as folders, pencils, expos, and markers are used every day and often are some of the materials that need replacing most frequently. With this supply of materials, students will be able to begin the year on a level playing field and with the knowledge that they already have the much needed supplies for learning while also lightening the burden on families. Every student will be able to start the year with their own pencil case filled with all the necessary materials to have a successful year!
