This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! And although we provide our students with breakfast every morning, sometimes, my kids don't prefer the options. Sometimes, they wake up late and miss breakfast at home and at school. Sometimes, my kids are exceptionally hungry on a given day. I'd like to provide my students with a healthy breakfast option at 10:00 am recess, when they are more awake and still needing something to hold them over until lunchtime.
Breakfast cereal and breakfast bars are a great way to break the fast in the morning and give my students the energy they need to get to work!
These cereals and breakfast bars have low sugar content and great protein content. They are wonderful and delicious choices for my students. Satisfying the hunger in our bellies will help us get ready to feed our minds!
