Starting Swamp Studios Art Club!

Help me give my students the art supplies they desperately need in order to learn new techniques! We are starting with nothing more than pencils and notebook paper, but these teens have a passion to create.

My Students

My Swamp Studios participants are high school students who are not currently enrolled in Art classes but want that creative outlet to be able to express themselves. We focus on bringing new techniques and knowledge to our club by researching and practicing the cutting edge techniques of the art world. This is a brand-new club and we are starting from the ground up!

My students come from all walks of life and are eager to learn Art Techniques and artistic thinking that will help them in the real world.

Our school is nestled in the northwest corner of Louisiana and we pride ourselves on our family and community focus. As a first year teacher, I could not have asked for a more wonderful group of students to work with!

My Project

My studio art club is starting from scratch and we are in dire need of supplies! My students wanted an art club for those who aren't currently taking art, and they are putting in the work! They have a long list of projects they want to undertake, and many techniques to research - so every little bit will help! Please consider helping get Swamp Studios off the ground and bring art to these kids! The brushes, paint, paper and Drawing Boards will help the students feel like professional artists as they begin working towards the understanding of art. Thank you all!
