This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is a very hands-on Math room. I give my students the opportunity to explore Math and Patterns themselves. This means we do a lot of small group work, projects, and classroom discussions. This requires materials to share our findings. Whiteboards, markers, posters, and pencils are crucial in helping us hone in on our discoveries. Previous projects include comparing Electric vs Gas cars, the effects of policy on Police Brutality, and Climate Change. Help us to feel comfortable with Math as we apply it to the real world.
