This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a brand-new second-grade teacher, I’m excited to welcome my first class of students - but I’m starting completely from scratch. To create a welcoming and effective learning environment, I need help providing my future scholars with the basic classroom supplies they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Every student deserves access to the supplies they need to thrive from day one.

With your generous support, I can ensure every child has the tools they need—without placing the burden on families or young learners. Practical supplies like pencils, erasers, dry erase markers, and individual dry erase clipboards will help provide each student with a set of their own supplies to use throughout the school day.

This project will also help me build a well-stocked, organized classroom from the ground up. I’m requesting storage containers for STEM manipulatives, supply pouches and storage bins for each student's materials, and library book bins to keep our space neat and accessible for all learners. I’m also including classroom essentials like tissues and hand sanitizer to help maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
