My Project

This year is a big one—for both my students and me! I’ve recently relocated to Las Vegas, and I’m thrilled to begin my first year teaching 5th grade. Starting in a brand-new classroom means I’m beginning from scratch when it comes to supplies, but I’m full of energy and eager to create a strong foundation for my students.

Fifth grade is more than just another school year—it’s a critical time of growth and preparation as students get ready to transition to middle school.

Developing strong study habits, staying organized, and building responsibility are all key parts of this journey. To help support them, I’m requesting basic yet essential supplies like pencils, notebooks, folders, dry-erase markers, storage bins, and tissues.

These materials may seem simple, but they play a vital role in daily routines, classroom organization, and student confidence. When students have what they need, they can focus on learning, building independence, and developing the skills they'll carry with them into middle school and beyond.
