This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are fascinated by tiny things. Pebbles, buttons, beads, and a flower they picked outside. Early science skills require making observations about the surrounding world. I would like to provide my students opportunities to see things on both a small scale and a large scale.
With your donation, my students will use a document camera and a projector to look at natural objects and their own artwork on a big scale.
Your contribution benefits both the arts and sciences in our class by allowing my children to look closely at natural materials of interest (rocks, flowers, leaves), as well as art created by themselves and their classmates. We will use the document camera to manipulate objects in real-time; our projector will allow us to make observations and reflect as a whole group, where every child can see what is happening at the same time.
