This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in first grade love learning through STEM activities. They are in need of the proper materials to learn through manipulatives. Magnet tiles are always popular, but I do not have enough to share with the whole class. We often have to use glue sticks and markers, and having a bin to keep them organized will be helpful to their learning as well. My hopes for this school year are to incorporate more activities that allow students to learn through hands-on experiences. They will love learning using these new materials.
