Starting Out a New Racquet!

My students need badminton and tennis equipment for next year.

My Students

My students have grown both academically and athletically over the last three years. We have developed competitive basketball, volleyball, and softball teams due to the generosity of those whom have donated via donors choose.

My students' are every day children that have a thirst for life and living!

Unfortunately, the urban environment from which they travel presents both physical and psychological challenges on a daily basis. My student population consists of students from Kindergarten to 8th grade receiving free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

I am seeking racquet types of equipment, such as badminton and tennis, to continue to prepare them for lifelong fitness activities. They will master the sport of tennis and badminton with the gear sought here through donors choose. They will learn hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and body coordination skills.

The donations will continue to reinforce my belief that all children deserve an opportunity to experience new and challenging opportunities that can develop into lifelong habits of healthy living.

The students will be continue to enhance their after school activities with the Boys and Girls Club and other groups that use the facility. Students' will have healthier alternatives instead of getting caught up in the drug and crime invested streets that surround the neighborhood.
