I am finding myself already excited for the upcoming school year. As this year winds down and I am cleaning and putting things away, I want to make sure that I am best prepared for my new students this coming year.
I need to replenish a lot of our basic supplies so that we can start the year off on the right foot.
Included in my project are a lot of supplies that keep our math notebooks sturdy for the year: duct tape for the binding, and contact paper to keep the covers fresh. Our new math folders are also in this project, something I have students use every day as an organizational tool and an efficient way to turn in their work to me once a week.
The rest of the supplies are simply things that I am running low on or have wished I had this year. Our electric pencil sharpeners are starting to struggle after a few years, some of the bins I've been using to store supplies have cracked, and my stores of some basic items like erasers, glue, drawing materials, and pencils are simply running low. This project would be a HUGE boost to start our year off with everything we need.
