Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students are students with Autism. This year I currently only have Kindergarteners. They are ages 5 and 6.

Many of my students are non-verbal but all of them have limited communication skills!

My students need different learning modalities and activities to understand their environment. Using the standard-level books does not always work for my students. I often need to make copies of lessons that are taught slightly differently than the lessons of the book so that my students can understand and retain the material.

I am asking for things to help me start off right! I need copy paper to help with lessons and lamination pouches and tape to set up my room. I need golf pencils for their little hands and behavior stickers for their daily reports to their parents.
