My students need the basic supplies required to be successful, including pencils, crayons, glue sticks and a pencil sharpener.

I teach math and science to fourth grade students in Texas. I have 2 classes and each class contains 20 to 25 students. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch.

This is my 20th year in the classroom. Each year, my students seem to bring fewer of the basic supplies needed for minimum participation. Like many other teachers, I spend hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket each year.

My students need basic supplies. They will use the pencils and pencil sharpener daily to complete assignments. The crayons and glue sticks will be used for creating hands on projects in the classroom.

Your help will ensure that my students always have the basic supplies needed to further their education. In reality, your support will impact my students daily.
