Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 15-20 amazing students in an engaging and diverse community. I am a special education teacher teaching students with learning difficulties, attention deficit disorder as well as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I am currently a co-teacher, so this project would benefit regular education students as well. My students are learning to grasp a growth mindset as well as acquiring lifelong skills. At this time, they are engaging in school in person as well as virtually. We are in education at a unique time when the world is changing as well as in chaos.

My Project

These materials will help my students start up with a fresh start going into marking period 3. The students have notebooks for at least English but since the start of the school year, the notebooks and folders have been torn, drawn on, and used.

Having new notebooks and plastic folders will help students organize their work and keep their notes clean and neat.

Having plastic pocket folders will allow students to not only keep track of their work but organize their notebooks by subject. Please help our students stay organized.
