My Students

I teach in a low income area at a Title-1 school. My classroom is home to 24 students of various ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and levels of abilities. We have a few parents that we see several times a week for drop-off and pick-up; however, many of the children lack support systems.

The students are loving, caring, and willing to learn.

These students are diverse in their learning styles and interests. This school and the students are near and dear to my heart. Each student is special in his or her own way, and I couldn't imagine working with any other choice of students!

My Project

In my fourth grade class, students need me to supply many of their basic instructional tools. By donating, you would be helping my students have access to materials they greatly need. Our class is in dire need of basic writing utensils like pencils, erasers, markers, pencil sharpeners and paper. These materials would be used daily to enhance learning through writing, creating, and drawing.

As a fresh start to our school year, I'd like to make sure each student has the materials needed to learn.

My classroom is full of loving, dedicated learners who would be overjoyed to be gifted even just a pencil. Please, help me to provide these basic materials to jumpstart our learning.
