My Project
After spending 12 years in the same classroom, I am moving to a new school/classroom this year. I have always prided myself on creating a welcoming environment that helps engage my students and gives them access to a world with "portable magic" (my classroom library). My last room had built in shelves and I filled them with hundreds of books for my students to access.
The bookcases will give the students' books a new home in the new space as my new room does not have shelving.
This room also uses tables instead of desks, and students will have access to laptops. The bins will help with personal storage for items that would typically be kept in a desk. The headphones will allow for students to have audio when using laptops for assignments and projects.
I am moving to a new school/classroom after being in the same one for 12 years. Your contributions to my classroom are greatly appreciated and would better fund needed supplies for students whose families may not be able to provide requested items from the school.
