Starting a School Garden With the Students

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn how to create and maintain a school garden as a community. The garden will allow cross-curricular lessons to dig into with engaging students with hands-on learning

My Project

I am looking to design and create a school garden with students learning in mind. Our school has an after school club and numerous classes that has curriculums that would benefit from hands on learning. Growing a garden will allow the students to come together as community and learn valuable life skills. We would use these supplies to letting the student grow their own plants from seeds to transplant into raised garden beds. The students then can harvest items from the garden.

Our students surprise me by the love they show about plants.

Thet have shown responsibility tending to plants in the school and they thrive to learn and want to try other types of plants
