Start Up School Supplies

My students need start up school supplies for the beginning of the year. Pencils, notebooks, crayons, and pencils cases will be used to start the school year off organized and ready to learn.

My Students

My students are a creative group of young people. They are excited about learning and have a lot of energy! My school is located in a high crime, high poverty area of a large city. School, often times is the only constant in these children's lives. I try to provide a warm comfortable environment for my students, so they can learn without unnecessary stress.

School supplies are a necessity that many parents can not afford.

Providing the basic start up supplies for the school year can help alleviate some of the stress for my students and parents.

My Project

Children will use the supplies on day one of school and every day there after. Notebooks will be used for journal writing starting with the first entry of the year about expectations for the year. Pencils and crayons will be used for every subjects all day. Students can keep their supplies in the pencil cases, which will help them remain organized at the start of the school year.

My students will not have to be worried about not having the supplies, if everything they need is on their desk when they walk into the classroom.

Giving to this project will ensure a positive start to the school year!
